about Jeff

I've spent over a decade behind the controls — long enough to have flown professional-grade drones as little as two feet off the water, threading through boat traffic to capture sailboat races most photographers can't touch.It started with a toy drone (a birthday gift from my mom — seriously). The hobby quickly turned serious, and in 2022 a single shot of Moxie passing Big Red found its way to the Holland Visitor Bureau, who became my first client. Since then I've built a body of work across the Great Lakes sailing community, from regattas and lakeshore imagery to the marinas, events, and waterfront moments that define this coast.FAA Part 107 certified and fully insured, I bring a professional's discipline to every flight — but the best part has always been the people. I'm grateful to the sailors, race organizers, and friends who've taught me the water (special thanks to Pat and Dale Gort for answering my endless questions). Here's to the next decade of chasing light, wind, and water.
